Short & Sweet: Black History Month may have passed, but the people haven't

For the Mundane's first-series posted on Instagram was for the celebration and acknowledgment of Black History Month in the UK.

We decided that we would ask our FTM* team to share a note for people who have inspired them and whom they appreciate regardless of their social status.

Fitting right! We'll highlight the mundane every chance we get. You may not know everyone who was posted as some were friends whilst others can be considered moguls in their industry, however the focus was to share appreciation and gratitude for the work they have done. This was a significant way for us to celebrate Black History Month because it allows us to see beyond the staple history that has been taught, rather to recognise that if we look in our everyday lives there is history being made daily by those close to us and out of reach. We want to bridge the gap. However our priority will always be those right in front of our eyes in our everyday life.
